A few days before the beginning of the IV edition, the last names have been confirmed that complete the great team that will participate in Erató Fest 2021, the festival that combines music, lyrics and floral art and that will be held from October 7 to 10, with stages in the Círculo de Arte, the Castillo San Servando and the Sephardic Museum.
After more than a year without being able to resume its activity due to the health crisis of the pandemic, the association Círculo de Arte collaborates with the Apolo association to host the opening day of the festival. It will be on Thursday, October 7, from 7:30 p.m., with the door opening at 7:00 p.m., a very special festive act “in which we will celebrate the return of an emblematic place in the city”, and which will feature the essential poetry of Aurora Luque and Juanpe Sánchez López, and the concerts of emerging Toledo artists such as Pilar Moxó, Selene Casas, Mallo, Bonita, Alba Dj and Dj Envenenadub.
Attendees will enter the draw for lots of books thanks to the sponsorship of Taiga bookstores. What’s more, Poisoned Music will record a special live radio program that will be broadcast later on Onda Polígono. Admission will be free until all seats.
Free activities for the whole family
On Sunday October 10 it will be the turn of + ERATÓ, the program of free activities offered by the festival each year. In the morning the route ‘I love you green’ will address history and the environment, with a musical and poetic touch. It will depart from the Roman Circus at 11:00 am and arrive at La Casa del Diamantista at 1:00 pm, following the ecological path “to reconnect with the benefits of Toledo’s natural and monumental heritage beyond its walls.” The route will be enlivened at all times by the music by the folk group MacMardigans Trío, and by the recited poems of Garcilaso de la Vega. In the afternoon, the Erató Club, the poetry club of the
Apollo Association, which will coordinate a Micro open from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for all who want to recite or sing. With the presence of local poets José Julián Uceta, AZ Phadrig, Hayate, Macarena Alonso, Carlos Enrique Rodrigo, Olga RT, Raquel Ross, Carlos Alfaro, Carmen Alcaraz, Sara Parra, Jacobo Sánchez, Marisol Anguita or Paula Aparicio. Registrations for the open mic will take place on site.
Ana Alcaide at the closing
Ana Alcaide joins the musician Vicente Navarro and the poets who will be part of the creative laboratory ERATÓ LAB throughout the week, how are they Fran Navarro Prieto, Javier Calderón, María Domínguez and Cristina Angélica, to close in the best possible way Erató Fest. The artist based in Toledo will celebrate a very special concert at the Sephardic Museum, the last concert of the 10th anniversary of her album ‘The song of fire‘. It will be on October 10 from 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Free entry until complete seats.
