Thus, today there will be few Spaniards who have to go to their job and many who take advantage of the day to rest or do other tasks that they cannot do with ease throughout the week, such as buy in the supermarket.
However, it is important to remember that, as it is a national holiday, many establishments will see their schedules upset, to adapt to workers and customer demands.
This will affect the All Saints Day to the main supermarkets:
The supermarket chain owned by Juan Roig It has a very strict schedule when it comes to holidays and Sundays. Thus, their establishments will remain closed throughout the day of today, November 1, to also repeat the day off for its workers.
The English Court
El Corte Inglés, Hipercor and Supercor, on the other hand, will have a different strategy and will open their doors today, All Saints’ Day. Of course, they will do it as if it were Sunday, in their usual hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m..
Although at first the Día supermarkets open today, some establishments may undergo modifications in their schedules, so it is advisable to check their website before going.
Carrefour supermarkets will open their doors throughout the day. However, certain centers will do so only between the 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m..
Lidle tends to have very irregular hours, depending on the establishments and the areas in which they are located. However, as a general rule, the All Saints Day these supermarkets will remain closed, with some exceptions in Madrid and very specific locations.
At first, the Aldi supermarkets will open their doors throughout the national territory sometime today in their usual hours from 9.00 hours to 21.00 hours.
Alcampo establishments will open their doors today, but they will do so in their Sunday schedule.
The Madrid supermarket chain will not open today on the occasion of the feast of All Saints.
