Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler (Greens) has to go to the home office because an employee has a positive corona test. He will continue to carry out his official business from home, his office announced on Tuesday via broadcast.
Kogler has been segregated and is now waiting for his test result. Most recently, Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen had to relocate his workplace due to a corona case in his environment. The employee in Kogler’s cabinet has so far shown no symptoms, it said. The Vice Chancellor wished him “and everyone else who is currently suffering from Covid a speedy recovery”. Both Kogler and the affected employee are double vaccinated.
