Andreas Hanger describes himself as a “genuine” Mostviertler and is proud of it. He was born in the Landesklinikum Waidhofen an der Ybbs in 1968 and grew up in his parents’ sawmill. He graduated from the “Sägerschule” (HTL for wood management) in Kuchl (Salzburg), later he worked in large Lower Austrian companies, for example at the office furniture manufacturer Bene.
