This Monday morning, the clinical committee meets again to plan what the opening of the hotel business in Galicia could be like. It will be, at least according to forecasts, a new advance in the de-escalation announced by the Xunta after the harsh restrictions imposed by the advance of the Covid. To know what the parameters may be, it is important to know the photograph of the situation of the Galician map to 14 days. That is, check, with the map published daily by Sergas, updated with data from the day before at 6:00 p.m., and that analyzes the accumulated incidence (AI) and the number of cases of each council two weeks ahead. This is the situation this Monday:
With the data in hand, it can be verified that Santiago, Orense, Pontevedra, Vigo and Lugo have an incidence of less than 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, which makes them leave the red level due to the incidence of Covid. It is the general trend, however, of practically the 313 Galician councils: that predominant red color begins to disappear weeks ago to give way to orange (no more than 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) or even yellow or green. Before the foreseeable easing of restrictions, it is also necessary to check what the situation was the day before. This is the map updated on Sunday (with data from Saturday at 6 p.m.):
Part by part. Indeed, five of the seven Galician cities have an incidence of less than 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. All of them, therefore, are in orange level, not registering any change in this aspect with respect to the previous day. Vigo It is the one with the least AI of this classification: around 160 and, after the downward trend that it is registering in recent days, it could fall to the yellow level in the next few days. They are approximately 10 points less than the day before.
On his heels he finds Santiago. It has an AI that is around 165 cases of coronavirus per 100,000 inhabitants. They are practically 10 points less than the day before, so that downward trend is also confirmed.
This list continues with Pray, which remains around 170 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in two weeks. They are also about 10 points less than the day before.
Already over 200 are Pontevedra and Lugo, although their data does not reflect the same trend. While the first of the councils would have approximately 220 cases (five less than the day before), the Lugo city increases its AI: if the previous day it remained at 235, this morning it has dawned at around 240 cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants.
Ferrol and La CoruñaAt the moment, they seem to play in another league. Both cities remain above 300, although they maintain their downward trend. The Ferrol council would have, according to IA’s approximate calculations, 365 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (fifteen points less than the previous day).
Drops from 400 cases, for the first time in weeks, the AI of the Herculine city. It has around 395 Covid cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
