With a very pleasant morning, the sixth day of the Autumn Season was held at the Madrid Hippodrome, with six exciting events, all on the grass track, with great public success, many locals and tourists, who enjoyed a lot from the thrill of horse racing and gastronomy.

THE DAY

The morning started at 11:30 am, with the BONUS MADE IN SPAIN PROGRAM AWARD, for 2-year-old foals and fillies that had not won, a distance of 1,400 meters. Six participants at the starting pole. Kakarrot hurried out of the drawers, setting the pace for the test, closely followed by Glorytof. In the final stretch he gave a jerk trying to be enough, but Glorytof with a great change of pace jumped on him and went with solvency towards the goal, getting a nice victory. Kakarrot entered a length and a half behind to be second, while almost five lengths, Tayrona arrived in third place.

The second race was the SOUDZOU PRIZE, (Claim), three-year-old colts and fillies to be sold for € 12,000, € 16,000 and € 20,000. Nine participants, in a sprint of 1,200 meters in a straight line. Barbado, a great distance specialist, was the fastest, becoming strong in the final meters, achieving victory in a tight and exciting finish. Tunante came second at half length, who by half length, passed in front of El Tapado who came in third place, ahead of Astimegoesby by another half length, to be fourth at the goal post.

In third place, the MARIANO HERNÁNDEZ PRIZE, (Claim), three-year-old colts and fillies to be sold for € 12,000, € 16,000 and € 20,000 was disputed. Eight candidates for victory started from the 1,600 meter pole. Poweful Sole doing the typical waiting race, finishing with force from the last places, he went like a shot towards the goal, winning with authority by almost four lengths. Second came Bowls from which something more was expected. Body and a half behind, the fight was for third place, when it seemed that it was going to be for Unamuno, Muguetajarra hunted him in the same goal post, passing him through only one neck.

The fourth race was the VETERINARY FACULTY PRIZE, support of the Lototurf, for three-year-old colts and fillies that had not won. 2,100 meters of travel. Twelve copies in the departure drawers. Monty Barelire came out determined to break the race setting a strong pace from the start. In the final stretch he tried to withstand the attack of his rivals, but Ussía, who was always vigilant during the course, gave him a great change of pace and gave him no option, achieving a brilliant victory. A length and a quarter behind came Monty Bareliere who held Urano’s final and perhaps late attack by just one neck.

The morning was closed by the DISCOVERY OF AMERICA AWARD, a reference handicap for horses and mares from three years of age and older. Fifteen participants will start from the 1,400 meter pole. Beautiful race with a very exciting finish, won from end to end by a reborn and little played at the Cuppacoffee box office, who endured with a lot of heart, the final attack of his rivals, achieving a meritorious triumph. Second to a neck came Tannhauser, finishing like a shot from the back positions, with very little to go to catch the winner. Third, a quarter of a length behind, came Vetona, who for the same distance passed in front of Tiermes. Surprise at the box office for the result, leaving the Trio, the double and the Pick4 bet deserted. The winner was listed 27 to 1. The bet is twin (first two of the race), € 221.60 per euro bet was paid.
