This Monday has been presented at
Illescas the Operational Program for Employment, Training and Education (Poefe) 2021-2022, an ambitious training plan promoted by the City Council, co-financed by the European Social Fund that is launched to provide coverage and training to people who are in a situation of unemployment.
The event, chaired by the mayor José Manuel Tofiño, was also attended by the councilor for the Training and Employment Area, Sandra Quevedo, and the head and coordinator of the IDEL company, Marga Sánchez.
The project offer 21 training courses, in which 15 people can participate in each of them. 15 courses are offered on ‘Auxiliary Warehouse Activities’ and six on ‘Social Health Care for Dependent People in Social Institutions’. In all of them there will be hours of theoretical-practical training, hours of professional practices and hours of transversal training and different certificates of professionalism will be offered, with the possibility that part of the student body can be awarded a scholarship.
These 21 training actions, which will help more than 300 unemployed people, will begin to be taught from the end of this month and will continue during the remainder of 2021 and next year 2022.
Tofiño has made clear the “evident commitment to employment and training of this government team in all its legislatures.” For her part, the Councilor for Employment highlighted the fact that her department is always betting “on training, employment and the search for new possibilities so that our neighbors can access a job.”
Courses and dates
Finally, the head of IDEL has made known all the details, dates and courses included in this Poefe project, which aims to promote job placement and improve their employability, for which different itineraries related to professions are taught that have an important demand in Illescas.
During the year 2021-2022, two itineraries will be taught: Auxiliary warehouse activities (15 editions, 8 in the morning from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 7 in the afternoon, from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.). For this year 2021 the launch of six editions is planned and the rest, nine, will be taught during the year 2022.
On the other hand, ‘Social health care for dependent people in social institutions’, six editions, four in the morning (from 8:00 to 14:00), two in the afternoon (from 14:30 to 20:30). This year the launch of four editions is planned and two during 2022.
