The virtual edition of the fifth Go Global Congress has closed its cycle of forums this Wednesday with a final day dedicated to digitization to promote the internationalization of Valencian SMEs, which has been attended by more than 1,600 companies from the Valencian Community online.
This event is organized by Alicante Chamber of Commerce, the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor, through Ivace Internationalthe ICEX Spain Export and Investments, financed by the European Regional Development Fund (Feder).
The commitment of this third and last Go Global forum has been digitization for international marketing. On this subject, they have offered their presentations Alvaro Matilla, international growth consultant de Google; Antono Lopez, country manager de Semrush, Y Baltazar Christensen, supervisor regional sales partnership de Free market.
All of them have valued the digital factor to favor expansion of small and medium-sized companies in the Valencian Community, in the same way that they have offered tools and keys to achieve this objective. Likewise, they have defined instruments for digital positioning in international markets, as well as new sales channels at strategic points of sale such as Latin America.
This last forum of the fifth Go Global Congress has been inaugurated by Rafa Climent, Minister of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor, and Jose Vicente Morata, President of the Council of Chambers of Commerce of the Valencian Community.
In his speech, Climent highlighted the existence of a “new economy” to which companies can adapt thanks to technologies. “Companies have the world at their fingertips and can bring their products to potential customers around the globe,” he pointed out.
Likewise, Climent has underlined that the 21st century customer is used to the fact that physical distance is no barrier neither to communicate nor to buy a product and therefore “companies must opt for digitization.” “From the Department of Sustainable Economy we maintain our commitment to support companies in this and other matters through programs, services and events such as the Go Global Congress, an example of coordination between entities”, he said.
For his part, Morata, has stressed the importance of digitization. “From Go Global and the Chambers of Commerce of the Valencian Community we support you to digitize yourselves and understand the international part as a fundamental part of the economy of our companies”, he defended.
The companies participating in this third forum have had the opportunity to virtually attend the round table dedicated to new channels for internationalization, as well as viewing interviews with experts, holding personalized meetings and participating in virtual rooms with international importers, financial entities or learning about the news from Europe.
All of this has been possible through cutting-edge technology and a leading streaming platform, which has allowed attendees to witness an online congress with all the facilities and opportunities of a face-to-face event.
The first two forums of the Go Global Congress virtual edition have been dedicated to competitive intelligence and sustainability, all with the aim of promoting the internationalization of Valencian SMEs.
